Synergy gone without the Pips!
A musical icon, "It's A Wonderful Life" remains inspirational at 69 years old. I don't have much good to say beyond that. She performed a one hour set sampling her most memorable songs. We left before the end of the concert, which has never happened before. The sound quality and volume was poor, and at times the sound cut-out to inaudible on vocals; I had to strain to hear all the music. This event was the least satisfying of any. The same happened with the O'Jays set, which made the only interesting part watching their dance moves (still have it!). I have gone to at least one concert at St. Michelle winery every summer for years; I sit in about the same place on the lawn every time. All in all, I was disappointed in this concert. However, I will continue to go to the concert series at St. Michelle since I would have highly rated all the other concerts I have seen there. Great venue!!

I want to report back to you and say thank you. God is really speaking to me through the scripture Psalms 139: 23,24. I loved the concert as usual. I tuned into the Living on the Edge broadcast the following morning, where Chip Ingram also mentioned the same scripture. Today, I went onto the Billy Graham site and read today's devotional, which also referenced the scripture. He truly is with you and accomplishing great works through you all. I have always felt that and see that in what you do. You mentioned the scripture in that we should appeal to God and pray the prayer of David, asking God to search our hearts. 'God continue to bless you and yours.

Jamming with the folks
Chuck Brown was fabulous. It took me a minute to realize his fabulousness, but once I did, I was hooked. I loved it! Those who are ultra familiar with his work were already partying before he even hit the chord of his first song.
A really, really long time since I've had a chance to par-tay with a list of artists like this. Ok, I have to say.
Raphael Saadik took a little getting used to. There was one part of his set where he removed the mike for an extended period of time but his lips were moving....huh?
It's A Wonderful Life did her thing too. She sounded fab AND put on a good show, very entertaining and did a very nice blend of old and new music. She was well worth the wait, although I have to say I'm a die hard, first 2 albums fan!
Mike Epps, what can I say? He's a nut, we all know, but his set was funny as hell!
Chrisette Michele did her thing as usual. She usually brings nothing less than fabulousness and did not disappoint. I can't wait until she's headlining her own show.
Foreign Exchange...well ummmm I'm not sure what to think. Maybe they needed some more warm up time, cause I've heard their music and they are generally pretty good. YahZarah was fire of course....I just love her.
Great venue, great partying/drama free crowd, and excellent performances from most. A win, in my book.
